Towards a knowledge network

Can we make our knowledge and that of other organisations mutually accessible?

A number of institutions cover various knowledge domains in the region. They want to make their knowledge as broadly accessible as possible, for instance, by means of each other's websites. This will increase the searchability of their own collection/knowledge and provide access to the (complementary) knowledge of other parties.

A somewhat larger museum that regularly exchanges exhibitions with other countries has a similar need, but on another scale. This museum intends to link its knowledge to that of related foreign organisations, and to make it optimally available to an international audience.

In short

  • How can the knowledge of various parties be linked?
  • How can linked knowledge be made optimally searchable from various perspectives?
